Why need water Cooling ? |
| Computers get hot, and they must be cooled. Your average store-bought PC uses a system of fans to pull heat off major components such as the CPU (central processing unit), graphics processor and hard drives. There are two cooling methods: Air Cooling and Liquid Cooling. Air cooling solution has a drawback in which the flow rate is restricted due to the air’s ability to conduct heat called Thermal Conductivity. This would reduce the possibility of heat dissipation; as a result, GPU fan would be overloaded creating loud noise. Liquid Cooling; on the other hand, has a better thermal conductivity than air. It can completely dispel excessive heat within an airtight environment. Hardcore games prefer Liquid Cooling System because it is able to dissipate greater amount of heat in a quiet setting. |
